I was at the Fuji X-Series Soho Workshop last Saturday. It was a street fashion workshop organised by Alex Lambrechts. It all took place on the streets of Soho, London.
The day started with all the participants meeting at B-Soho Pizzeria & Cocktail Bar at around 12 noon. Alex did a bit of an intro into the day and what to expect. He also offered some really good advice on different photography topics.
We set out on the streets of Soho to photograph Jasmin Lambrechts (Brunner). The whole experience was really good. Enjoyed and learnt a lot. Alex and Jasmin were very relaxed and easy to talk to.
The guys from Fuji...Marc Horner and Dale Young, brought along some cameras and lenses for people to try. Amongst them was the recently announced X100T. It was good to have a bit of a play with it, as I plan on getting one when it's available in November.
I had my X-T1, XF 35mm f/1.4 and XF 56mm f/1.2 with me. Here are a few more of the photos that I took.
The good thing about taking part in such a workshop, apart from what you learn, is that you get to meet other photographers and network. I'm glad I went for the workshop and would like to thank Alex, Jasmin, the guys from Fuji and all the other photographers for making it a lovely day.
